Milkshake fruit? Ahhh, Melchsee Frutt…sorry, I’m English!
For someone who had not done snow-sports before, this place was amazing. I came here earlier this week with my family and our friends who live in Switzerland. They repeatedly visit this resort and I can see why. We all went sledging at the resort and it was so fun. The views were spectacular and the route to sledge down was brilliant. The gondola ride was efficient and the stations for the ground level and mountain level were clean and had clear signage throughout. The staff were helpful and friendly too - much needed for a nervous novice. I now have the snow bug and want to return…snowboarding next time!

Amazing
My whole family and I loved Melchsee Frutt! After taking the gondola up, we walked around Melchsee, the closest lake, and were surprised to see cows just walking around, sometimes even on the road. We hiked around for about 2 hours, but we would have loved to stay longer, even for the whole day because it was a perfect temperature and the paths were easy to navigate. After we hiked, we went to one of the stores where they sold fresh sausage. I would also recommend trying the sausage because it was so much better than sausage in the US! Overall, Melchsee Frutt was a beautiful place definitely worth your time!

beautiful scenery
Beautiful place with amazing views, great family skiing area with good lessons, not all joined up that well, some parts where you need to carry skis/boards to reach next tow or chairlift, some lovely wide runs
