Clean beach, golden sand and safe waters
Monday 10th January and we walked from our Hotel, H10 Timanfaya Palace, along Avenida Maritima, a coastal pathway, in the direction of Rubicon Marina. Along our way we stopped here at this beach, which is very wide with golden sand and it stretches about 300 metres along the coast. It is situated along the Avineda between the Port and Marina Two man-made breakwaters, constructed with rocks, stretch out into the sea from either side of the beach. These create a protected sheltered area with calm waters, an ideal safe swimming area. Rows and rows of yellow sunbeds with blue umbrellas line up along the beach, these are available to hire. There are showers along the beach. When we were here, it was a bit overcast, it was virtually deserted with only a few people walking along the Beach. It was gloriously quiet, perhaps due to the time of year, peak season would be a different story. There are numerous cafes, bars, restaurants and shops close by on the Avineda.

Amazing!
Playa Dorada is a wonderful beach! The sand is golden and the water is stunning, calm and cristal clear! Being located in the city of Playa Blanca, it's a bit overcrowded, but totally worth the visit. There are sunbeds and umbrellas to rent at a very reasonable price (12 € for 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella for the whole day), they are a bit close to each other, but comfortable enough. Bars and restaurants are close.

Lovely beach
Playa Dorada is a lovely beach located to the rear of Princesa Yaiza hotel. The beach is nice and clean with lovely clear water. There are plenty of sunbeds and parasols to hire - they each cost €4, so two sunbeds and parasol was €12. The beach attendants tend to come round to collect the money starting at around midday.
