    Worth the drive!
Have to be honest. Wife and I were visiting from Florida and dropped the kids off for River Rafting. Having some time on our hands we started to drive. Came across a winery and wasn't impressed so I looked for another. Stumbled on the Watauga Lake Winery and it was our "Luck". Upon arriving we were bummed to see a sign in the door that the winery was under construction but, we were promoted to head up to the Vineyard. After getting lost a tad, we made it. Delightful! We had a tasting, split a well crafted basket of cheeses and fruits, and 3 bottles coming home with me later, would strongly recommend a stop here. Nice people, perfectly relaxing, and well crafted wines.

    Great Place!!
Definitely worth visiting. The staff was extremely nice, they really made th experience. The wine tasting is affordable as is the bottled wines. I tasted the sweeter wines and they were very good. Will definitely visit again if we travel up to the area again.
