An Important Building in Turkish Independence Journey
This museum has a very special meaning for Turks as this is the house where the first legal step towards our independence was taken. Therefore, it’s more than the furnitures and the view that visitors focus here. Having said that, it’s worth emphasizing that the house and the furnitures and accessories are well preserved. Written explanations guide visitors through the negotiations which took place here, so even if you don’t have prior knowledge about the events you still can get the overall idea. Beautiful Museum
Historical building and museum with original furniture from the Armistice. Staff have deep knowledge. Great location

No leaflets, brochures, language support
Perhaps the most important agreement in the establishmgent of republic of turkey was signed here, but one gets surprised to see the place a bit neglected. There are about a hundred old houses left from old mudanya town. The new town has nothing interesting, just hundreds of ugly apartment buildings. But fifteen minytes away there is a fishing village called trilye, has a church mosque, nice place for an hours visit.
