Museum of Salt in Pomorie
A lovely place to spent some time in Pomorie, the Museum is very close to Grand Hotel Pomorie, just 5 min. walk, at the place is shown the way of producing salt in ancient way from the sea water, and you can buy some real salt and souvenirs from the town of Pomorie, also you can watch a lot of lake birds at the salt lake there or to swim in to the salt water of the lake, like in Dead sea in Israel! I enjoy the place very much!

Worth visiring
Small but quite interesting place. One can learn how the ancients produced salt. I think that Pomorie is one of the few places in the world where salt is produced using natural solar evaporation.

Small but cozy, hear the lecture to learn what it is about indeed
Small but cozy museum where you can learn about the traditions in salt production from Lake Pomorie in the past. The exhibitions itself is small with paintings and photos of salt production in the 20th century, as well as vehicles and other objects. Next to the museum there are salt pans where salt is produced by ancient technology which you can visit. Lectures are offered in Bulgarian and English and the Bulgarian one was quite interesting both for kids and adults.
