Wonderful place! Local and farm itself food
I feel Allandale is one of the tent posts of this community. It's where you go to get wholesome farm food and local food. And for plants and Christmas trees and pumpkins. It also has a very special and excellent summer camp. Visiting is an experience, unlike some bland supermarket. Things definitely are pricey here, but maybe this is what we should be spending for real food rather than food from massive factories that chew up our environment -- and, moreover, chew up any poor animal that is unfortunate enough to be raised for a supermarket chain. Cherish this place!!!

    The Only Farm in Boston
Allandale Farm is a hidden jewel located on the Boston/Brookline line near the Faulkner Hospital. We have been a member of the CSA (farm share) for years, and except for too much Swiss Chard (yechhh!) it's a great way to explore different recipes. They also have a great kids 'Summer Camp' program that mine really liked. I'd highly recommend checking it out.
