Nice Clean Welcome Center

Stopped here again on our travels down I-81. This welcome center is very nice. It is spacious and clean. They have a nice separate room that looks like a cabin with visitor information. There is a veterans memorial outside in addition to an interesting sculpture/art piece. Restrooms are clean. Plenty of parking. Picnic tables and water fountains available.

    Music, brochures, snacks, and bathrooms
    I was very pleasantly surprised. The facility bathrooms were clean and they had many brochures and pamphlets for the area for free. I noticed they even had a few musicians playing in some rocking chairs. It was charming. Also, do not forget the snack and vending building. They were stocked better then the last Pilot I stopped at.

    What? A security guard? What a great thing to have at a rest stop where there are plenty of kids and women stopping in. The center was open, spacious, and had loads of tourist brochures to offer. Good visitor’s center!
