Wonderful

October 15, 2022 attended wedding at Steele Creek Lodge. Venue was made even more stunning by the breathtaking fall colors in the rolling hills around the lake. Too pretty for words. Lodge looks like a log cabin nestled in the woods. Parking was ample, lodge offers indoor and outdoor seating and the indoor has a large rock fireplace for picture taking/staging. Ample room for tables and dancing inside and out. There were about 50 people attending and the space was perfect. Ceremony outside and reception inside, just steps away. Lovely place. $2.00 entry fee per car at the front gate, which is unbeatable! Love Steele Creek.

    Just Scoping Out After Hearing About It
    Appears to be a great place to bring Grandkids when they visit. Nice picnic areas. I'm told fishing is good on the lake with the trails and docks providing easy access. I'm sure my Grandkids will enjoy the train!

    nice busy park to visit on weekeneds or anyday
    this park pretty cool has a train ridfe for $1 and exhibits inside are free to look at and $1 per half hour paddle boat rides per person. and 3 playground areas and 4 areas of restrooms splashpad closed this year due to coronavirus crap but its great too when open.nice place to fish or hike the mountain trails,or walk the dam trail,if you walk the entire 2 miles trail you end up other end at rooster front park another playground and restrooms and a tennis court.parking to go inside the park is $2 attendant or machine,or park outside the park parking lot free but long walk over too things.
