My first trip to Bristol Dragway was awesome! What a great track! The staff was excellent and we had a wonderful weekend!

Welcome to the World of Speed
Our grandkids had never been anywhere near any type of race cars, etc. before. But they were so thrilled to watch (and hear) so many fast hot rods go screaming down the dragway. Pure fun & excitement guaranteed.

Very Exciting for the Whole Family!
Finally, I was able to get my wife to the drags. I want to get my adult children to visit. I had not been to any drag way since 1975, so finally getting here was great. The track has a free cart service to bring you from the parking lot to the grandstands. There were funny cars, rocket cars, pro and pro-modified racing this time, with a side show of motorcycle stunt riders. There was a nice breeze and the stands we sat on shielded us from the sun; a 90 degree plus afternoon was actually quite pleasant (I hate the heat). The loudness of the racers was a visceral as I remembered, with the rocket cars being incredibly loud, bright, and fast. All-in-all, this is an experience everyone should try at least once (but bring earplugs!)
