D and J's Good Ole Days Antiques and Oddities, Texas, United States

5.0 (18 reviews) Spent 2-3 hours Ranking #1 in Brady Antique Shops

A MUST See./

This should be on a list of "must see" antique stores in Texas. Lots to see, but very well organized and amazing. Like a museum for sale. At one point I felt like I was in my dads shed seeing some familiar items from my childhood. Worth the trip to Brady, TX just for this place. 5 stores on the square and another down the road.

    Unexpected, quirky, and awesome!
On a road trip, we dropped in this awesome, quirky store in the most unexpected, small town of Brady! We didn't have near the time needed to look at everything, but long enough to see that it is an exceptional find! It is a large store filled with antiques, vintage items, and oddities galore! (See other reviews) The staging is organized by subject matter and enough room to get to items. The friendly owner, Joe immediately came up and introduced himself. The name of the store accurately describes the merchandise...antiques and oddities....many odd and one of a kind things I have never seen in this type of shop. I loved it and can't wait to return to spend more time there! A real treasure find! It is up there with the famous Uncommon Objects in Austin...maybe better! Bigger and less crowded for sure! It's located downtown on the charming Brady Square. A must to see even if you are not into antiques.

Best Time I've Had For FREE Fun
This place is unbelievable. We go to a lot of Junk Stores (Antique/Second Hand/etc.), we love to look around - we might just find a gem! I swear we spent a good hour in this place. They have a little something for everyone. I especially enjoyed the 'time flies and the raccoon getting into the peanut butter. They have so much even a huge jar full of dentures! But, don't look for a bargain, that is one thing this place doesn't have. They would probably make a fortune charging admission!
