Great place, bit difficult to find

This site took us some time to find. Coming from the direction of Gudhjem there is sign for a picnic area combined with a sign VANDFALL. It's right before you reach the lowest part of the Dondalen valley in the road. That's the place to be. It's a ten minute walk to the waterfall, it's not signposted , just keep walking strait on. The waterfall and the woods are amazing. Nice and tranquil. We visited in June and it was not very crowded.

    Good place for a walk/small climb
    Went there with kids and loved it! If you expect a big waterfall you will be disappointed, but the walk in the forest is beautifull and it is nice to see the small water.

    Not for the sake of the waterfall
    Do not go there for the "waterfall", it is very disappointing, but the place itself ... it was wonderful, and outside the tourist season there are even more beautiful, with good parking conditions. The only minus besides the waterfall is the toilet conditions, can be summed up in one word DISGUSTING
