Museum About the Carnaval
This is a museum located at the top of a hill in Guaranda Ecuador. The building is in the shape of a guitar and that shape becomes more obvious as you walk around on the rooftop. The roof is decorated to look like the top of a guitar. The views from there are spectacular looking over the city and surroundings. Inside the museum are several floors showcasing the costumes worn during the Carnaval celebration, as well as pictures detailing the history the celebration. Several interactive exhibits and many photo opportunities throughout. Staff were friendly and some spoke a bit of English (the day we were there). If you are in Guaranda this museum should be added to your list of places to see.
