Great day out with family! Highly recommended!
We are the largest zoological garden in the Czech Republic. We specialize in breeding animals from the Palearctic realm, which covers the whole of Europe, the northern part of Asia, and the north of Africa, including the Sahara. We raise more than a thousand animals from almost 160 species, that also include fifteen endangered species registered in the European Endangered Species Programme. The zoological garden offers numerous activities for children, from a petting zoo, where you will find a number of climbing frames, to the Lanáček rope climbing centre and the very popular Amálka zoo train.

Nice place for a family day out
Had a great day with my fiancé and baby would recommend it to any any family loads to see and do. Only 100czk to get in the zoo park bargain in my eyes as in Scotland ??????? it £30 pp

Family afternoon at Zoopark
Me my babyboy and my parents, we have spent quite nice afternoon at this park. There are plenty of animals which you can see, unless it will be very hot so some of them might be hiding which may cause that you dont get to see them all, this happened to us... I would like to point out that this park is located in a small city, therefore I was surprised that the entry fee is quite high- 100,- czk per adult and 40,- czk for car park. The refreshment in the park was not the best one, or maybe we have just choosen wrong place where to eat, but the food was poor quality and quite expesive and also the lady at the desk did not look very friendly. On the other hand I was surprised by the high quality and cleanes of the wc, well done! I can recommend this place for families with children for sure.
