Beautiful garden with many interesting features

Located on the grounds of the magnificent Waldstein Palace, this elegant 17th-century garden is designed in the baroque style with classical bronze statues and gurgling fountains.

    Island of tranquility
What a great place of tranquility. The garden is the part of the Czech Senate. You can see the peacocks hanging around the pond with fishes or Eagel-owls (Bubo Bobu).Lots of statues of Adrianu de Vries, represenating incoming Baroque. Monumental is sala terrena where occasionally concerts and exhibitions are hold. Easy to get there by public transport. There are three entrance one via the senate (Tomasska street – tram Malostranske namesti ), From Malostranska Metro Station or small side entrance (Letenska street).

Beautiful Place to relax and enjoy while in the Prague Castle area
Our tour guide, after a longer morning touring around the Prague Castle, took us off to the side to the Wallenstein Palace Gardens so that we could sit, relax and enjoy the surroundings. It was the perfect place to rechange our batteries…and based upon the number of locals enjoying their lunches there, obviously an exceptionally popular spot with the locals. The gardens were beautiful with wonderful water features and carved walls (to look like random carvings, but actually contain hidden images). And the gardens were exceptionally well maintained.
