Puppets!
My travel companions are not in agreement, but I loved this place. There are so may interesting and exotic marionettes. There is a brief demonstration of the puppets, and they actually let you play with them on the top floor, so you can find out for yourself how hard they are to maneuver smoothly.I have a feeling that won't last forever, so go now! We were there in January, and we were the only ones in the museum.

Try to work with the puppits yourself and have some fun
I visited the place to learn something new about history of puppet art. The place is full of text and audio guides at the stages. So if you are interested in the topic and want to go through everything, expect to spend few the hours at the place. The last floor is whole dedicated for playing with the puppets. Because of that, I would say that the place will be most interesting for families with children, or with someone with good imagination to come up with some scene idea and play it with someone else. The guy that was guiding the top floor showed me and my friend how to hold and work with different types of puppets, even some that I had never seen before. Great new experience for me!

Chldren and Adults Love it
The puppets are a tradition in Czechia. The Loutek Puppet Museum is an enchanted place for children and also for adults. You can touch and play with many of the dolls and you can even prepare your own show. It is increbible! It is a must in Plzen!
