Impressive tower
This Gothic tower is guarding one end of Charles Bridge and the entrance to the Old Town. It was built by Emperor Charles IV according to designs by Petr Parler in the mid-14th century. For the great views, visitors must pay 150 CZK (6 euros) and climb 138 steps to the viewing gallery.

Beautiful entrace to the Charles Bridge
Old Town bridget tower is a beautiful entrace to the Charles bridge. With its statues of St. Vitus and King Charles, the tower dominates the entrance to the bridge and is a great meeting spot for lost members of your party. Make sure you pass through the gate to appreciate this 700+ year old structure.
