MUSEUM OF GLASS AND JEWELLERY IN JABLONEC NAD NISOU Museum of Glass and Jewellery is promoted by the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic. Established in 1904. The only museum specializing in glass and jewellery in the Czech Republic. The largest exhibition of historical and contemporary glass in the Czech Republic and the largest exhibition of jewellery in the world.

Diverse collection, excellent staff
The staff here is excellent. We enjoyed all the floors. Such a diverse collection from Christmas ornaments to production tools to jewelry and high end glass art. Not too big but a little something for everyone. Nice gift shop as well.

Great place for those who love beading
The City Jablonec nad Nisou and the surrounding Jizera mountain region is since the 19.century one of the most important centres of glass beads and fashion jewellery manufacturing in the Europe. The museum of glass and fashion jewellery has an outstanding collection of antique pieces produced here. If you love beading it will be a great inspiration for you! And then after the museum visit you can spend some money in many Jablonec bead shops and start to create your own jewellery.
