    Nice plaza
The main square in the city home to Catedral Primada on one side, Colombia’s Houses of Congress another and Palacio Lievano, now the mayor’s building a third side it is a large square with some impressive build-ings. But with no access to most and so large while being devoid of cafes or restaurants it would be bland were it not for the people on a weekend. Performers, stalls selling food, protesters outside their parliament building, families out for the day. Just a lively city square.

    Cool Plaza Bustling with Activity
This is the most signature plaza in Bogota. We arrived around 9am on a Monday - the day after voting day - so they were still some leftover tents still around. There are a ton of vendors in the plaza - early in the morning there were vendors selling corn to feed the pigeons and some llamas around for children's rides. Later in the afternoon, there were a ton of food carts selling drinks, fruit, baked goods, etc. There were also a lot of street performers in the plaza as well. We saw a high school marching band performing, which was really cool. Do be careful of your wallets and phones, as it does get super crowded and I'm sure pickpockets around.
