This is unbeilable place for sightseeing. The road is ok after leaving from main road up to first top near Tel'e sieges. After Tel'e sieges station it is a little bit tough. But you should drive till you reach the lake. You could find obsidian stone (volcano stone) near lake.

Second Largest Crater Lake of the World
Nemrut Crater Lake is the second largest crater lake of the world and it's composed of 5 different lakes. Its name derives from the Babylonian King Nemrut. I have not been to its shores but we had a day long climb to the Nemrut Mountain as acclimatization part of our Süphan Mountain climb and I witnessed the breathtakingly beautiful view of the lake from the top. Different colors of different lakes were much more distinguishable from the distance. If you take an interest in nature, you should definitely see this lake. Especially, in case you are at this part of Turkey and you don't allocate time to visit it, we will definitely regret it.
