Vinh Hy Bay, Binh Thuan Province, Vietnam

if you want to do absolutely nothing for a couple of days

If you want a few days to do nothing at all this is the place to be. One resort and almost nobody speaks English. That is my kind of fun. They have a good swimming pool and the restaurant have a great menu card (in English)and there is a fantastic fish restaurant on the other side of the bay. You can rent motorbikes to explore the surrounding area. Lots of vinyards. You can also make a boat trip to see the coral. Or you can walk in the small village and try to speak with the locals. But most of all take a good book, one of the chairs next to the pool and do absolutely nothing at all. Doesn't that sound great?

    simple village with stunning views
This is a small fishing village, but worth the visit if you are in the area. Go early in the morning to watch the fishermen coming in and sorting through their catch and follow it with a tour of the morning market. A short drive away is the picturesque Broken Bridge village home to the Cham ethnic group. Nearby is the Nui Chua national park or rock park with absolutely stunning and highly unusual massive rock formations.

The most beautiful Bay in center of Vietnam
Swimming in Vinh Hy Bay was the most interesting activity when I went to Phan Rang. I were not only surprise by curved line in the road to the Bay, but also excited by local daily life near the beach.
