Educational

The museum offers a ticket discount for students, which is a great incentive for visitors. The permanent exhibition is great, it shows the era for what it was - the good and the controversial. It is also the final resting place of Marshall Tito, which adds historical and national value to the site.

    Don't miss
One of the main things we wanted to visit when in Belgrade and we weren't disappointed. While small, the museum is full of interesting things about President of Yuoslavia Tito, his illness, his funeral and the aftermath. While we were here somebody brought some flowers to his grave and that was nice to see.

Quite a history lesson of the former Yugoslavia
When I grew up, Yugoslavia was a country and Tito was the ruler. Serbia was part of Yugoslavia and Belgrade was the capital. This is the final resting place of Josip Broz Tito. There are three museums here and lots to see. Tito kept all of the gifts he received from world leaders and citizens alike. There are pictures of his train car that he used to travel all over Europe. There are pictures of his funeral which was attended by many still recognizable world leaders. If you are a history buff - you'll appreciate this place.
