Enter and Be Amazed
This is the imposing entrance to the vast complex of the one time emperors, Forbidden City. A great spot to get to early to get a memorable picture of yourself. This is a sight that draws people from all over the world and China, after all the Chinese emperor was the center of the universe.

The real entrance to the Forbidden City enclosure
The traditions says that you must touch each one of the nine bolts from the door to bring you luck from the ancestors. Hence, the color of those bolts (shining bronze). This magnificent gate building leads to the entrance to the most famous building and view of the Forbidden City.
