Nice view of forbidden city and sunset
The park is located just across the road from north gate of forbidden city. Recommend to visit the park after visiting forbidden city. Entrance to the park cost 2rmb. Ticket to the park is sold at the entrance. If one have yikatong(metro card), can use yikatong to tap at entrance and no need to queue for ticket. At the top, one can have view of forbidden city and view of beijing including the drum tower further north. Is also a great place to watch sunset. Best is after forbidden city closed at 4.30pm, head to the park and catch a sunset view.

Good view of the Forbidden City
Opposite the exit of the Forbidden CIty, the climb to the top gives a great panorama of the city. The park is a restful place to cope with the buzz of the city and the heat . There are some beautiful temples to see in the park itself Entrance fee a few RMB - worth the fee.
