Best place to buy
Unfortunately the school is closed on Sundays but the shop is open. The larimar here is way nicer than in any of the stalls/shops around DR. Prices are good and fixed - no bargaining. No hassle lots of choice.

Nice larimar jewelry
This museum is actually a store were you can shop, at very good prices, jewels made by local artisans, with the native semi-precious stone, larimar. But be aware! If you're looking for a piece of stone, not a jewel, just look for along the road (direction East) where local people sell these stones at a price a quarter or less ...
