What an amazing opportunity to be embraced by nature, staying right at the base of a stunning waterfall! Gede, the owner of the homestay has just built 2 brand new rooms, making a total of 3 rooms for rent altogether. As one of the local tour guides at the waterfall, Gede has a great love of his land and is passionate about sharing his knowledge when it comes to the healing properties of the different plants along the easy walk from homestay to waterfall. Don't let the fact that there is no shop in the area deter you from staying, some of the local ladies make incredibly delicious Balinese food, the best I have tasted in all of Bali in fact,.as well as organic juices from produce grown right there on the land. Just let Gede know you are wanting breakfast, lunch or dinner and he will organise to have this delivered right to your door. And while you are there, be sure to try Illou's amaaaazing healing massage, truly one of the best I have ever had, and I've had many :) This healing massage works on the reflexology points and meridians throughout the whole body... one hour of healing therapy for only 150 000rp or AUD $15! I can't think of a more beautiful way to spend a day.... a leisurely walk and swim in the waterfall, massage and gorgeous organic food, surrounded by the healing sounds and energy of the jungle. Fantastic place
This lovely waterfall is the end point of a beautiful walk. You are really in the Bali jungle and it is just gorgeous. This is not Ubud or Kuta as it is old world unspoiled lack of tourists Bali. The waterfall itself is incredible and there are not many people there. It's refreshing! Was within walking distance of Gomball's Fisherman's Homestay which was absolutely wonderful!!!
