Do yourself a favour and book the tour through Bali adventures
This was a rather interesting e perience to say the least. You HAVE to have a 3 course lunch as it is part of the entry fee. Do not organise this through your hotel. Book with bali adventures. A tour with a private driver is a complete rip off. Entry fee is $85US and includes everything as part of a 12 hour tour with Bali adventures. Driver will charge $65US but you still have to pay $85US to ride the elephants, so much better to book a tour.

Gorgeous baby elephants
It was lovely to see the baby elephants. Unfortunately they were in their stable when we visited due to repair work on the playground. The guide was lovely and took us to a staff only area to see and meet the baby elephants. So sweet. The Pod chocolate factory on site was also great with free tasting and cool chocolate drink. Pod chocolate is much cheaper at the factory than out in Bali and it is delicious.
