This is one of the best locations for sunrise photography. We arrived well before sunrise & could hear people who were camping near the lake waking up. There’s several great spots to photograph the canoes & the sun coming up over the hills in the distance. Well worth getting up early for.

Nice place for sunrise
Nice place for sunrise in Bali So peaceful, foggy and very beautiful when sunrise. It is a nice place for camping overnight and enjoy sunrise time. Need arrive before 5:30am if wanna see stunning scenary

Murky atmosphere of this place fascinated me.
Danau Tamblingan is one of the places in Bali still not touched by mass tourism. To reach this place, it's necessary to rent motorbike, Im not sure of public transportation here ;) You can easily enter the lakeside from Munduk village and take a small walk through the forest. You can find there small temple and what more important, silence. Grab a cup of coffee from small shops around and enjoy the moment. Honestly, one of best places I've seen in Bali so far.
