A Indonesian cooking class set high in the mountains above Tabanan. The chef Lonny Gerungan is from Bali , who moved to the Netherlands in his 20s and opened his own Indonesian restaurant that became famous through out the world. After moving back to Bali he opened his restaurant Droemah by Lonny, this is the next step in his life, a cooking school set in the beautiful location of Batungsel.

Amazing
Every year when I am in Bali I book a cooking class. This year I booked at Samasaya garden run by Lonny Gerungan. It was a amazing day and what a host is Lonny. Everything arranged by his staff in detail. Coffee/Tea/Fresh and snacks in the car, even refreshment towels. It was a full day experience and the best I did until now. Keep it going and thanks for all I learned to use at home.

Lunch with a view
A beautiful place, with really delicious food and very good hosts. Really amazing view on the rice fields like you imagine they must be. The fruits and vegetables all from their own garden.
