Tour is too expensive
We had to pay 95.000 to enter the factory (chocolate welcome drink is included + free chocolate tasting). Afterwards I did the „tour“ for 165.000 Rp extra and was a bit disappointed since you „just“ get a 10min explaination about how they produce them facing the glass front you already see when you enter the factory. I don‘t think that I would bring anybody here. -sorry! Still the chocolate and the way you produce is really awesome!

Untempered chocolate
We a had an beautiful experience at Pod. The kitchen looks very clean, tasty chocolates and loved the explanation about the progress of making chocolate. When we did the chocolate making bit, unfortunately the chocolate provided is not tempered at all. So the chocolate you take home is grainy and very unpleasant to eat. You do a great job of making the chocolate from scratch. But the customer gets a different experience as its not tempered at all. It was nice to see the cacao trees as well but was hoping to see fruit on them.
