broken beach

A beautiful tourist spot with a tunnel on a cliff, which can make sea water flow into the pond.

    Spectacular unique Instagramable moments
Broken Beach/Pasih Uug Beach is picturesque rock formation located on the southwest coast of Nusa Penida. It is situated adjacent to Angel's Billabong, about 1hr drive from Toya Pakeh, although the last couple of kilometres are along a rough track (which is fairly tortuous if you are on a scooter). Broken Beach is essentially a large natural pool, about a hundred metres in diameter, which is linked to the ocean by a massive rock arch in the coastal cliff. Pasih Uug in the Balinese language means damaged beach. It will cost you 5INR to park here (cash only) but it is free to park at the nearby Angel's Billabong. It's a great spot for travel photographers and anyone who wants to enjoy stunning panoramic views however you can't actually get down to the beach. There are no fences or barriers along the path that goes around the cliff's edge, so it is very easy to miss a step and potentially fall to your death. For the most spectacular photos try and get there at low tide, when the rock arch is fully exposed - for the full effect take them from the land side for the best views of the arch.

    Hot but nice view
Very hot with minimal shelter and stores on the way. However, it is the place for some worthy photos and you can even see manta rays sometime (heard from the guide). But plesse bring a cap. It is hot.
