Good food, great view, superb hospitality
Made was a real host. Super friendly and considerate. He made sure to be on time to pick us up and though we were slightly late to leave (sorry, Made!), he waited patiently. We started off with a trek from the top of the terrace to his area near the end. The trek was an easy one for about 20-30 mins where we were surrounded by the padi. When finally arrived at Made’s place where the cooking was held and were greeted with a smile by Made’s wife. The cooking was great as it was truly a Balinese experience, even foraging for our vegetables in his garden. The food was excellent though it could have used more spiciness! Overall Made’s hospitality was top notch and I would definitely recommend this to anyone interested in seeing the rice padi terraces and experience a Balinese cooking class and dishes.

Amazing
to be recommended 100% the rice terrace was beautiful, especially with the mountains around it! our cooking teacher was great! amazing location to cook right in the rice fields. I was blown away by every single recipe. so delicious my absolute favorites were the peanut sauce and the soup. the cooking had a lot of attention to detail but can also be implemented by any beginner. I had a really great day with you guys! Thanks very much !!
