We Should Have Rang First
FREE ENTRY. We were in the area visiting Tegenungan Waterfalls and Kemenuh Butterfly Park. But we did drop in on a bad day as most of the art was boxed up ready for a overseas show. This meant the kilns were not in use either. The owner was very nice to talk to and was very apologetic nothing was happening. We did have a look around and we may try again next time.

Awesome glassblowing class!
I just took one of Ron's beginner glassblowing classes with a good friend and it was, by far, one of the best experiences of my time in Indonesia. Ron told us we could show up a bit early and we caught him and his team blowing an incredible light casing out of a tiny glass block for a Singapore hotel. My friend has countless pictures of me with jaw ajar watching the process. Ron taught us how to make colored glass paperweights and glass flowers over the course of 2-3 hours and I got a sense of just how much talent and time goes into glassblowing. Ron was a great teacher and let us get really hands-on while giving helpful feedback in a casual, relaxed setting. My friend and I both hope to come back to do other classes and see more of Ron's studio. This is a hidden gem in Bali, go before everyone figures it out.
