Worth the adventure on a bike to see the bluest water around. The cliff jump has actually been abandoned but still worth a look. If cliff jumping is what you're looking for then there is one just around the corner at secret point - another great clave to check out!!

Don’t Confuse Blue Lagoon Cliff Jump With Nearby Manana Point Cliff Jump….
….As do MANY REVIEWS AND PIX DOWN PAGE It’s easy for visitors to confuse the two – BOTH are located within a few hundred meters on the western end of small BALI offshore island NUSA CENINGAN – BLUE LAGOON on the northern side and MAHANA POINT the southern. And with the former closed down by authorities because of a serious injury a few years ago, most people wind up at MAHANA – which is more or less at the end of the road for visitors who have come across the narrow yellow bridge from adjacent NUSA LEMBONGAN to do a motorcycle tour of CENINGAN. BLUE LAGOON – this is a 140mX140mn bay cut into the limestone cliffs by the prevailing dry season swell which has come all the way from Australia. The shortest approach is along a 40m track leaving the roadside opposite the rather nice SECRET POINT HUTS driveway.This is abt 2km from where you hit CENINGAN after crossing the YELLOW BRIDGE. The view from the top of the cliff is impressive and worth the stop alone – and yep, the water is VERY blue. The cliff is at least 25m high but the jumping area on the far left (eastern) headland (a 300m track leads around the top of the cliff) is half this.The 12/13m jump is about the same as nearby MAHANA’S higher leap. There was nobody around when I called by but a staff member at my SECRET POINT HUTS said people still jump when conditions are right – despite the official closure, a local wanders in on peak season afternoons when the tide level is safe, throws the metal climbing ladder down the cliff, gets jumpers to sign a safety waiver and collects idr70k for 3 jumps. I had a look – the tide seemed a bit low to me (this is how the accident victim broke his back) and I didn’t fancy hauling myself up the sharp rocks of the cliff-side without the ladder. So I gave it a miss. MAHANA POINT – if you continue to the end of the road only 150m past the shortest track to BLUE LAGOON you will come to this cliff-side warung and cliff jump place. It is actually on the opposite coast of CENINGAN and has excellent views across the 1600m wide mouth of the channel to NUSA LEMBONGAN and a closer vantage of one of the area’s top surfing spots (various names: MAHANA/CENINGAN/SECRET POINTs). The take-off zone is only 100m away. As such the place attracts a good crowd of visitors most afternoons. Drinks and meals are available – at surprisingly reasonable prices. And because MAHANA is owned by SECRET POINT HUTS, I could charge stuff to my account. The first of MAHANA’S jumps is about 12m from the water, the other only 5m –idr55k ($US4) a go but free to SPH guests. Care must be taken not to jump when the tide is low – but the warung guys will ensure this. I’m a 71 yo geezer, but having the emotional age of an 11yo I had to give both a go. Good value. There is a fair rip current around the side of the headland from the landing zones but the attendants help with an inner tube on a rope to drag you to a hand rail from the water. I didn’t need it on the lower jump – the swash of an incoming wave washed me the short distance to the rail. Both these attractions are well worth visiting. I urge people to only jump at BLUE LAGOON under the safest of conditions – make sure the tide is up, the ladder down and the incoming swell not too big (the latter can create some pretty good rip-currents along the base of the cliff). MAHANA staff won’t let you jump when conditions aren’t right.
