Bedugul Market, Bali, Indonesia

Worth a quick look
Depends what you are after... There are some stalls selling fruit and veg but, for the most part, it's all about tourist tat. Wooden toys and souvenirs, cheap clothes and bags of spice. Everything has to be bargained for (because, apparently, that's what tourists want) so expect to spend 5 minutes arguing about the price of a 2 dollar toy. While we were there, the only locals we saw were the stallholders and drivers - everyone else was a tourist. On the plus side - there's an ATM, a cafe and plant shop at the back that's well worth a look (even though you can't bring anything back). If you want to see a more authentic local market head 10 minutes along the road to Baturiti

Good for strawberries
I bought some strawberries and snacks from this market. The taste of the strawberries were good. Most of the shops sell the same goods and hence there is a scope for bargaining.

Every stall sells the same things
Small market opposite our resort. Boring nothing much to shop. Stalls sell about the same things. Not recommended to go unless you stay near the market.
