Our trip wouldn't have been perfect without this
The moment we arrived at the airport, we were greeted by Arya, he was very accommodating and he knows his stuff. For 5 days we went around Bali, not once was he ever late to pick us up. His service is reliable, safe, and his recommendations always turn out to be the best choice we've made for our trip. We had such a wonderful stay, and we couldn't have done what we did without his help! Not only was it great, its very affordable too. Definitely recommend his services.

NEGOTIATE YOUR PRICE BEFORE YOU GET INTO THE TAXI
There is no shortage of taxi's in Bali & they constantly roam around beeping at you to try to get u into their cabs, In bali it is all about negotiating & bartering your price before you get into a taxi and make sure that you are firm with what u will be paying otherwise get into a blue taxi and demand that the metre is turned on and make sure that it stays on as many taxi drivers are totally aware of how to rip off the tourist by then turning off the meter and telling you it is broke. They will also try to take you the long way if possible to get a dearer fare if u have not negotiated your fare price before you get into the cab. Beware that they also look at how much jewellery and how u may be dressed to give you the price they want to charge you, so dress casual and down unless you want to pay more & leave the jewellery at home. We found also that 6 taxi drivers didn't want to give us change and this is the latest scam and they tell u that they don't have change and then show u an empty wallet. Because of how they did this, we then refused to give them a tip so its a good idea to have some smaller notes with you. Its a good idea to ask around for a good taxi driver where you are staying, we found a driver for the day would be about $AUD 55-$60 but they can try to charge a lot more if u r prepared to pay it. Overall it is safe to use the taxi's in bali but beware that many will try to get as much out of all tourists as they can.

Asked few more taxis to compare price
Taxi drivers will approach you once u come out from airport. Taxi booth quoted me IDR180,000 from airport to my hotel Le Meridien (abt 1km away fr Intercon hotel), but the young taxi driver (not attach to taxi company) quoted me only IDR100,000. You just need to ask few more, and base on your ' judgement' to choose the honest taxi. Subsequently, i engaged this young driver for IDR500,000 for 8-hour. I decided few places of interest to visit myself. He gave a suggestion on places to eat, which is very local style of eating place n authentic bali food.
