Fantastic Massage!
I had the most lovely massage from Estrella! I am a massage therapist myself and am particular about pressure and technique. At first I was a little surprised about the lack of intake but she didn’t need it. I highly recommend going in the morning so you can really hear the ocean waves and no thumping music. You are in a large room with lots of other people but their draping is very professional and you don’t feel exposed at all. Plus you can’t beat the price. Highly recommend!

Amazing massages by Marcela and Vicky!
After reading other reviews my daughter and I decided to skip the $150 massage being offered at our resort and try the Sand Bar. They have an excellent online reservation system for the day before and earlier. Not knowing what to expect I opted for same day reservations using the WhatsApp app. They responded almost immediately with availability for the day. For same day reservations, you need to arrive 30 minutes before your appointment time or lose your reservation but no deposit is required. We arrived 25 minutes prior due our taxi. They were starting to get busy, we were happy we arrived when we did and highly recommend arriving early. The open deck layout was quiet and peaceful . We were not in the front row, and did not need to be. We could feel the breeze and hear the ocean. We wore our swimsuits, so we did not need to change. They provide towels for privacy if you want to untie your swim top. Once settled in, Marcela started her magic. She used her forearms in a rhythmic motion. The massage was balanced, thorough with varying pressure , and ended with the same energy as when it started. When complete I asked my daughter, how her massage was. She shared Vicky had also used the same technique with lighter pressure which was her preference and she felt incredibly relaxed. 5 stars because this was the best massage I have had since my honeymoon in Fiji. Marcela and Vicky were amazing. Tips are cash only., but there is a cash machine on site. Next time I will not hesitate to book online and will likely do 90 minutes. Also the reflexology looks interesting.
