La Paz….Literally translates to PEACE and that’s EXACTLY what you find.
They Malecon is a wonder safe environment for you and your family.I was AMAZED at all the people rollerblading,jogging,and exercising all throughout the day and night.It’s honestly just a peaceful carefree environment that anyone can enjoy.There a many FANTASTIC restaurant and bars for you to choose from or just relax and watch one of the most beautiful sunsets you’ve ever seen.Bottom line-La Paz is a hidden gem and if you ever find this gem I guarantee you will love it.

Nice promenade
If you walk by the seaside, it is wonderful walk. The deep blue and turquoise of the sea, the boats, the sculptures along the way, the sunset, make it super nice place to walk. The downside are the hotels, bars, restaurants, and souvenir shops that cram the other sidewalk. It could be so much prettier! Most bars and restaurants are blasting music to attract customers, achieving exactly the opposite, some others do not seem clean, and some are simply not cool. We did not find a spot that we liked to sit and have a beer, but there were quite a few ice cream and gelato shops that were nice enough.
