Very beautiful place to visit . grassy grounds and high mountains ... fruitful trees , huts and guest houses are located just close to river. i would say , u will enjoy here more than in switzerland.

Heaven on earth
On 24 June 2012 I went to neelam river with my family , when u first saw it u can't believe on Ur eyes . The flowing river took my breath away Awsum Awsum place , best scenery but the side canteens and shop are not very good :( we took tea made from goat milk :( which I don't like at all , ate pakooras ( not good) and enjoyed alot in water and and enjoyed the scene :)

Very crowded with pushy vendors
Neelum Vallery River seems to be loved by everyone who visits Murree and can't go to AJK. The water wasn't blue or green or any of other shade than brown. There were two main streams, one brown, another red, meeting at this point. High peaks stand behind the river, making the entire scene look rather grand. It was an okay experience for me personally because you can't enjoy nature unless it's quiet and serene. Neelum River is brimming with vendors asking you to take your pictures, selling you fish or drinks. They didn't seem to take no for an answer and the entire hour that we spent was mostly wasted in responding or trying to avoid these folks. Don't think I'll go back except for stepping out of the car to take a breather.
