A pretty Replica Dutch house by the River
Pretty nice place which serve great Dutch coffee and local authentic snacks like Frikendal (Dutch sausages) and Bitten bollen (meat ball)! For an entrance fee of Bht50, there is a small museum upstairs to know more about how the Dutch came to Ayutthaya in the 17th century to trade. The ruins (foundation) of the original Dutch house can still be seen close by. Interesting place to visit and have a coffee break!

Bit of a mission to get there but worth it
Being of Dutch origin, I decided to visit this museum by bicycle. It is quite a cycle out of town but not undo able. You will immediately recognise the buidling by its typical Dutch design. The museum boasts an excellent display of the Dutch-Thai relations in Ayutthaya. It gives a great historical outlook on the Dutch trading from the Cape of Good Hope to Thailand. Definitely worth the visit. Treat yourself to home-made kroketten and Dutch cacao. Hmmmm!
