Fun for whole family
Cool experience, especially for kids that can have a lot of fun. Even when paying attention to each illusion, expect to be at the place for about more than 1 hour only, it's quite short. Another disadvantage is that if you have already been to different illusion museum, as for example me, a lot of illusions will repeat. This is not a problem of the place, it's just a fact of life. Staff was always nice and willing to take pictures of me and my friend at different illusion stages.

Interesting Concept but Partly Medicore Realisation
The Museum of Illusions is situated near Monastiraki place. Due to COVID-19 tickets can only be purchased on the website and visits are limited to 50 minutes. We choosed this museum because it seemed to be more entertaining and interactive compared to the other mostly conventional museums. In fact, the museum provides a good range of experiments which you can try out. While some of them were astonishing, others didn't really work. Unfortunately, the different experiments are not separated from each other so that it's hardly possible to focus on them for longer time since you will likely get disturbed by other visitors. The time limit of 50 minutes is ok but might let feel you a bit stressed towards the end. All in all, the Museum of Illusions follows an interesting concept and offers some variety during your stay in Athens. Even considering the good location near Monastiraki place I would give it a try.
