Beware, the All Sites 30€ ticket!
The All Sites ticket that you can purchase at the Acropolis itself for 30€ does not include a visit to the museum. A number of people were caught out when attempting entry, after visiting the Acropolis itself. Once inside, however, the exhibits offer the best possible complement to what one has just seen above and the cafeteria/restaurant is superb.

Brilliant Museum with great views
I visited here at the end of August 2022. When I walked down the steps to the museum entrance I could see that there was a long line outside waiting to get in and buy tickets. So instead of queuing I went on my phone bought tickets on line (€10) and skipped all the queues. The building itself with its glass top storey and fabulous views of the Parthenon from it’s second and third floors are highlights themselves. Inside there is lots to admire and a lot of information to absorb. Some highlights for me was the “Slope of the Acropolis” ramp when you first enter and the statues (particular the Korai and Caryatids) on the first floor. I really enjoyed the couple of hours I spent here.
