Great beach!
Great beach to visit - enjoyed 4 hours on a Saturday in May 2021 with 80 degree sunny weather! The orange flags were up, so we swam near a lifeguard stand as the wind really kicked up the waves. The sand is soft, clean and there is no seaweed. The only challenge is finding parking - would recommend taking an uber to be dropped off. Lots of places to enjoy lunch about 3 to 4 blocks from the beach.

Love the place
Beach is clean and the sand is compact for bike riding. Beautiful place to vacation and live. There are showers at almost each pathway to the beach so you can wash the sand out of your bathing suit before going home.

Lovely beach, a bit crowded
We visited for an afternoon, and enjoyed the little town center at the border of Atlantic and Neptune Beaches. We decided to just pay $10 for easy parking next to the beach, which made for a nice place to start from for both the beach and walking around the town center. The beach itself was more crowded than we prefer, including a surfer who kept pausing for smoke breaks in between catching waves (not certain, but believe it's supposed to be a nonsmoking beach). The sand and water were beautiful, though it was quite windy, which kicked up some pretty big waves.
