Wonderful views
Very nice mirador! Little bit tricky to find, I used maps and then started to follow my intuition and the white path marked on the stairs and then I finally reached the end, it was tiring but worth it! Great views of the houses and also of the lighthouse. It is a must do when in Cudillero. By the way I saw some people went by car and parked it there. How easy! I had to climb everything on foot.

It needs some Money spent on it!
Cudillero is such an attractive town from the front and at road level but when you walk into the back streets you can see its poor. This mirador being an example, it has a viewing tower that is closed off because the steps are full of holes and rusting away. The further up you go in the town the poorer the maintenance to the footpaths is obvious. To get the best views of the town and the port together walk around the footpaths until you are in the centre of the village. This is where the Tourist publicity photos are taken from. All that said, It's worth going to see!
