The garden in the sky
One of the most wonderful gardens we have visited in a long time. Man made from fields in 1990 this garden has to be seen to be believed. There are so many magical plants and sculptures dotted around that you’ll be treated to a visual feast wherever you look. Worth taking a couple of hours to wander around and if open, the little shop sells wonderful gifts and also a small selection of snacks and drinks. Last but certainly not least is the owner Beltran and his lovely wife who have taken this project on in the last few years. They have clearly thought long and hard about how to make the experience of visiting this lovely location a real pleasure. Would highly recommend anyone visiting Luarca to take some time to visit these gardens. A truly magical experience.

One of the most stuning gardens in Europe
This garden is located in above the small fishers village of Luarca, its really spectacular it have amathing views of the sea and the village, its really amathing for the variety extension an location, its a MUST SEE if you go to Luarca and you like nature you cant miss it...

For garden lovers
If you like gardens and nature, this is a good option. I'd recommend the guided tour (ours with Carla), which takes about an hour and a half; that way you can learn about the most exotic and curious plants. It's a bit hilly so it's probably not suitable for anyone who has health or mobility issues. The gardens were only recently acquired from an elderly millionaire businessman, and there's still a lot of work to be done to return them to their former glory. Toilet cubicles are located at the end of the tour. To enter, park down below, by the beaches, and walk up the wooden stairs.
