Ultimate Adrenaline Rush Adventure in the Mountains near Cangas de Onis
As a travel junkie who has experienced white water rafting, hiking and water slides, this activity is the ultimate for the adventure travel thrill seeker! From base camp in Arriondas, Asturias, just outside Cangas de Onis, you are outfitted with a wet suit, booties and helmet. All you need to bring is a swimsuit, hiking boots/sneakers and a change of clothes for later. It's a 30 minute scenic ride in the company van to the put in site. A quick safety talk stresses the need to use 5 points (4 limbs and your "culo") of support to prevent a spill on the slippery rocks. After fitting your climbing harness, In no time you are in the middle of a pristine mountain stream in a small canyon. The voyage involves walking, climbing, floating your way down the stream under the careful eye of the experienced, safety conscious guide. Pretty soon you are roped in for a rappel down a waterfall, OMG! Riding a waterslide toboggan into a mountain stream pool? Why not? Jumping into a refreshing grotto? Of course! The water is a cold rush but the wetsuits keep you surprisingly comfortable. I admit that I started the adventure with a bit of trepidation but the safety first attitude of our guide Pepe quickly allayed my fears and reassured this middle aged guy who's afraid of heights! I would highly recommend this adventure for the thrill seeking nature lover. It is great activity for singles, couples or groups. It's also very reasonably priced!

Canyoning/ Barranquismo
Very funny and adventurous experience with professional and friendly guides Alex and Ton who explained us everything so that we felt secured and could enjoyed all the trip. I have never done this in Asturias , it was amazing and I can only recommend this activity. I would like to thank you to Alex & Ton for everything . ???
