Excellent quality!
The tour was for free. The establishment has a good history of cider makers. I really like the cider!

El Gaitero cider. The taste of Asturias
El Gaitero cider factory tour was very enjoyable. Visitors are guided through the entire locale and the guides share the rich history of the factory as well as interesting facts about production and export of this tasty Asturian drink. Throughout the entire tour, you will see all sorts of memorabilia and mechanical implements that were utilized in the production and promotion of the product. The walk through the bodega is truly impressive and the complimentary tasting at the end of the tour is the icing on the cake. To make the visit more enjoyable, familiarize yourself with old videos of the factory. One such video is a silent turn of the century movie titled Bellezas de Asturias. Hope your visit is as pleasurable as it was for our party.

Enjoyable Tour
We booked the tour via email the day before. We had a speedy reply in English and were assured that even though the tour was in Spanish an attempt would be made before hand to give us an overview. The factory was easily found just outside the town and we were one of around 20 taking the tour. It last around 90 minutes and was really enjoyable. My husband is fluent in Spanish but neither myself or the kids have much grasp of the language. We still really enjoyed the tour. The staff were all very friendly and. It was quite apparent what was happening on each section even with very limited Spanish. The tour was free and we even had a tasting at the end. A must if your in the area.
