Great views
We were lucky having the nice, sunny weather. The air was transparent, the sea rather calm and we spend great hour walking and admiring this beautiful and wild coast.

rugged, wild coastline
If you enjoy walking along cliff tops, this is a wonderful place to visit. It is just a few kilometers off the motorway near Cudillero. From the lighthouse at Cabo Vidio you can see a vast stretch of the amazing coastline with its endless rias and coves and the inland mountains sweeping down to the sea. The weather wasn't brilliant when we went there, but that made it look all the more dramatic. near by is a beautiful, peaceful uncommercialised little beach, San Pedro, with soft white sand, sheltered water and rocky cliffs.

Nice views
You drive out along a short, potholes road to park you car by the lighthouse. From there you walk round the outside of the (unmanned) lighthouse to gaze at the foaming sea below - the swirling mass of water is certainly not the place you would want to swim, but spectacular to view Cabo Vidio is more "one of a number of places to see in a day" rather than a destination in its own right
