    Surf Supreme
these guys are superstars. If you have surfed before, or have no idea how to surf, it doesn't matter - this is the school for you. - they give classes in English and in Spanish (and presumably Brazillian Portuguese as one of the owners is Brazillian) - the lessons are clear, didactic, and useful. - the equipment is of good quality and the wetsuits sized to you perfectly. In 3 years I've never had an ill fit. - there are always instructors in the water with you, they're attentive, they are always watching you. In a normal group of 15 students there are three instructors in the water with you at all times, and there is ample training before you even go in the water for how to use your equipment correctly. - classes are for all levels. these guys spend their lives on the water, and their off seasons surfing, so they know exactly what they are doing. if you are already mid level and looking to improve, there is a class for you. if you know nothing, they're super patient and good and after two days you'll be standing on the board. - classes are dirt cheap. you'll get a 2 hour plus lesson with wetsuit and board included, as well as dry land instruction, for 20 euros per session per person. they also allow you to lock up your things in their van so don't worry about security. - Realize that there are hardly any classes set ahead of time. they are often vague because they need to see what the sea is doing. Very, very occasionally they will cancel a class because there just aren't rideable waves, or sometimes times will move because of riptides or the way the tide acts at certain hours. But mostly they have a schedule, it is just a flexible one. - they respond quickly and efficiently via phone, email, and whatsapp. - they definitely teach kids, and do it well. you can make this a family event. they have equipment for small children as well as adults of all sizes. - if it is raining go ahead and do it. The ocean is actually a lot less cold when it is raining. As long as there isn't a massive storm that would affect wave size, you're good.

    Surf and relaxation
Very friendly and flexible. They come every morning around 9.30 to the beach and you can arrange for surf lessons. They can teach small children and experienced surfers. The beach is also good for smaller kids as a small river runs with more quiet water. The restaurant at the top of the hill serves good food and mojitos!
