Wonderful Wildlife - Fabulous Opportunity for the Photographer
With more foliage and greenery by the lake there seemed to be more animals, and a greater variety of them to see than at other safari locations. Also, we found bird watching here to be the best on our five stop safari. / Lake Ndutu provided us with our best opportunity to photograph animals us close. / Put this on your destination list!

Fabulous
We loved this conservation area. I would highly recommend visiting here. Take your time and try to get your driver to stop for half an hour so the birds don't get frightened.

The Ndutu Lake area is an excellent area to view wildlife
This year the Ndutu Lake area was flooded. The normal dry season was anything but dry. Unseasonable rains turned what should have been dry dusty roads into rivers. For the most part the wet roads were passable by highly skilled safari drivers though a few got stuck. The area is excellent for viewing wildlife,we have seen numerous lions, cheetah and hyena in the area and as the herd migrate south, wildebeest and zebra appear in large numbers.
