A Little Gem High Up in the Mountains
Had a wonderful time visiting the museum and talking to the very knowledgeable staff. They even gave me some samples of pumice stone to take home and put me in touch with a local author who researched the eruption of Mount Pelee in 1902. Very nice exhibits, but definitely not for small children. A great stop on one's way up the mountain.

    Interesting stop
We are staying in the area and interested in the 1902 eruption and volcanism in general. This museum suited us, with plenty of local content and an interesting film regarding the 1902 eruption and other more recent volcanic eruptions in the Lesser Antilles. The film and all exhibits are in French only.
